What started as a helping hand 25 years ago has led Ray to become the band's highly efficient Quartermaster. The band is renowned for its high quality of turnout and its genuine care of its instruments. This is due in no small part to Ray who is continually cataloguing items of kit and constantly repairing and refurbishing them. His repair skills have saved the band many hundreds of pounds and his efficient filing system means most items can be located immediately for use.
